Evaluating Fallopian Tubes

Checking fallopian tubes can help natural conception.

Obviously, natural conception opportunity is improved if a woman’s fallopian tubes provide a clear conduit for an egg to move through. But how can you know for sure whether yours are free of blockage? Even if you are wanting to achieve natural pregnancy, there is a place for using medical diagnostics to evaluate whether there are any structural  issues that could affect your chance to conceive and carry a healthy baby to term. People have different time lines when it comes to fertility intervention, but if you have not been able to conceive and your routine preliminary blood tests and semen analysis look good, then this could be a next step to consider. After all it could be very frustrating to discover a significant obstruction in your fallopian tubes after going through months or years of fertility heart ache. You may be interested to know there is an increased rate of pregnancy after this procedure. In fact, it’s thought that in the following 3 months, a couple increases their chance of pregnancy by 25%! Even when no obvious blockage is apparent. Watch the video to find out more.

Where can I get calcium from if I don’t eat dair Where can I get calcium from if I don’t eat dairy products?

Calcium can be found in many food sources other than dairy, and may in fact be better absorbed in non dairy forms.

Regardless of whether you eat dairy products or not, variety is key when it comes to nutrition in general. A varied diet will help you achieve the broad range of micronutrients required for optimal physiological function. Focusing on one food source for a certain nutrient is generally not ideal.

Conference time in Wellington 🌻Just completed a Conference time in Wellington 🌻Just completed a great couple of days reconnecting with colleagues, sharing knowledge, talking ‘shop’ and feeling the pull towards unity as we step our into a new phase as a regulated health profession in New Zealand. These are exciting times for us and with continuing strong leadership, work and focus it sounds like we all have much to look forward too.

Kudos to our current Acupuncture New Zealand leadership for getting this across the line with our NZ government and to those who came before who laid the foundations. It was great to finally be able to celebrate this win for acupuncture & traditional Chinese medicine in New Zealand 🥂

Bundling up and getting outside regularly to get some sun on your face can help give it little boosts. Vitamin D levels influence hormones, immunity, bone health and more… In addition, getting out into nature brings all sorts of benefits to the body, mind and spirit. Add in some good company and a cosy cafe warm up en route, you have a great all round tonic for every part of your being 🌻
